Pilates Exercise Teacher
Bess started her Pilates career in 2010 after completing a comprehensive training with Tom McCook of Balanced Body University. While completing her training with Balanced Body, she began and built a successful Pilates program at Equinox Fitness in Palo Alto and continues to manage a high revenue Pilates program there after 5 years.
Bess enjoys training all types of clients, but specifically has been successful helping individuals with rehab/injuries and sport specific training for athletes, which prevents injuries and helps them get better at their craft/sport. She believes the Pilates Method can help with everything, especially functional movement in daily life.
Pilates apparatus and Mat Certifications include Pilates Method Alliance Certified Pilates Teacher in 2014, Comprehensive training through Balanced Body University, Power Pilates and Bender Training Method for Mat and Reformer; and National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer.
